The objective of this program is to prepare graduates for entry level positions in the veterinary assistant field.
Our Veterinary Assistant program will prepare the graduate for entry-level employment in Veterinary Assisting. Student will learn a full range of Veterinary skills such as venipuncture, anatomy and physiology, terminology, medical and surgical nursing, laboratory procedures, emergency nursing, pharmacology, handling and restraint of common and exotic small animals. Students are offered engaging classroom education, hands-on lab instruction and externship placement.
