- Skipping Rope – Jump rope or skipping rope is one of the most intense, and one of the most rewarding, forms of cardio exercises. Cheap, small, and lightweight, this little bit of rope nonetheless packs an intense fitness punch.
- Sandbags – It may seem unusual, but sandbags are incredibly useful and affordable additions to any professional gym. Trainers use sandbags to teach clients how to do squats with proper form and how to do a number of corrective exercises.
- Dumbbells – It’s hard to imagine a gym without a set of dumbbells. They’re mainstays of the exercise world, and nearly every studio is equipped with them. There are literally hundreds of exercises you can perform with dumbbells, and each one targets different major and minor muscle groups.
